Depression

Depression is a mood disorder and it is associated with anger, aggressiveness, irritability, anxiousness, and restlessness. It also associated with emotional changes such as feeling of emptiness, sad, and hopelessness. It also linked with change of behavior including loss of interest, lack of pleasure in formerly favorite activities, fatigue, suicidal thoughts, excessive drinking, and engagement of high-risk activities. They may also experience reduced sex drive, and lack of sexual performance. They may also experience cognitive changes including inability to concentrate, difficulty completing task, and delayed responses during conversations. The sleep patterns could also occur resulting in insomnia, restless sleep, excessive sleep, and sometimes lack of sleep at night (Tsuno, Besset, & Ritchie, 2015).
