Anxiety refers to a group of mental illnesses that cause constant and overwhelming fear and anxiety. The types of anxiety include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, and agoraphobia. Common symptoms of anxiety include panic, fear, and uneasiness.
