Personality disorder

Personality disorder is a type of mental disorder resulting in a rigid and unhealthy pattern of thinking, functioning, and behaving. Individual with personality disorder has trouble perceiving and relating to situation and people. This significantly affects their relationships, social activities, work and school. They include cluster A personality disorder which include paranoid personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder. The cluster B personality disorder include the antisocial personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder, and Narcissistic personality disorder. Cluster D personality disorder include avoidant personality disorder, dependent personality disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (Gunderson, 2019).
